How to buy an apartment in Turkey without leaving your home

Let's take a look at the process of buying an apartment online. It consists of several stages:
- Selection of an apartment
At the first stage, you need to decide on the city and region, and then choose a residential complex. For remote demonstration of apartments and the infrastructure of the complexes, now not only photos are used, but also video broadcasts, which allow a detailed examination of objects (quality of repair, view from the window, etc.). After a virtual tour, it is quite possible to make a balanced final decision on the purchase of a particular apartment.
 - Concluding a deal
The seller and the buyer conclude a deal by signing a contract. It contains all information about the object and the parties to the transaction, as well as the terms of payment of the contract and the obligations of the parties. To conclude a contract, the buyer only needs to have a foreign passport. The document is in 2 copies and in 2 languages: in Turkish and in the buyer's language. The seller sends the prepared contract to the buyer for signature by e-mail. Then the buyer signs a copy of the contract and sends it to the seller.
- Payment of a deposit
The buyer pays a deposit when booking the accommodation. On average, the amount of the deposit can be 25% of the cost, the amount must also be specified in the contract.
- Payment for the transaction
According to the conditions specified in the contract, the buyer transfers the agreed amount to the seller's account within the agreed time frame.

- After full payment of the cost of the apartment, the buyer proceeds to the registration of TAPU - a certificate of ownership of real estate. Then bills for water, electricity, natural gas are drawn up in the name of the buyer.
